Mutta Mala

 

 

Ingredients of Muttamaala:

  1. Chicken egg – 5
  2. Duck egg – 5
  3. Sugar – 250 gm
  4. Yellow colour – 1 pinch

How to prepare Muttamaala?

  1. Separate yellow and white yolks of all eggs.
  2. Blend well, white yolks of both types of eggs. Mix yellow yolk also. Keep them separately.
  3. Steam cook white yolk.
  4. Add a glass of water to sugar and boil well. When it becomes fully soluble, pour yellow yolk through a single holed bowl/spoon or leaf spoon in circular motions so that it forms a chain in the sugar syrup. It should not be broken.
  5. Do it for the whole process. When egg cooks and floats on the surface like chains drain them and place in a serving plate.
  6. Cut yolk white to diamond pieces or any other shapes as you desire and place on the top of yellow yolk. You can even place a cherry to decorate them.
