Mathanga Pachadi Without Curd (Pumpkin Pachadi)
Ingredients for Mathanga Pachadi Without Curd:
1. Pumpkin (Mathanga) – 350 gm, chopped into square pieces
2. Tamarind – Lemon sized, soaked in water and squeezed
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Jaggery – 1.5 small spoons or as needed per taste
3. Coconut – ½, scrapped
Mustard – ½ small spoon
Green chillies – 2
Red chillies – 2
4. Water – As needed
5. Coconut oil – 1 small spoon
6. Mustard – ½ small spoon
Red chillies full – 1
How to prepare Mathanga Pachadi Without Curd?
1. Cook pumpkin pieces adding ingredients no: 2.
2. Grind ingredients no: 3 to a fine paste.
3. Add the gravy to cooked pumpkin, and cook for a few minutes.
4. Put off the flame.
5. Temper mustard seeds and red chilly in oil and add to pumpkin pachadi.
