Mango Crumble recipe

Ingredients for Mango Crumble:

1. Mango cut into small pieces after removing skin – 2

2. Sugar powdered – 50 gm

    Lemon juice and skin – From 1 lemon

    Orange/passion fruit juice – ½ cup

    Basil leaves chopped (optional) – 10

For topping:

3. Maida – 1.25 cup

    Salt – A pinch

    Butter cut into square pieces – 100 gm

4. Sugar powdered – ¾ cup

5. Sponge cupcake powdered – 2

To decorate:

6. Coconut grated – 4 small spoons

How to prepare Mango Crumble?

1. Take the mango in a small bowl and mix it with ingredients no: 2.

2. Refrigerate it for a minimum of 2-3 hours.

3. Pre-heat oven to 180 degree celsious.

4. Transfer ingredients no: 3 together in a bowl.

5. Using fingers, mix till it appears like bread crumbs.

6. Add sugar and mix again.

7. In an oven-proof dish, spread the mango mixture.

8. Spread the sponge cake on its top, followed by the maida mixture.

9. Bake the mango crumble in a pre-heated oven for 30-35 minutes till it turns golden brown.

10. Decorate with scraped coconut and serve with ice cream of your choice.
