Malabar Mutton Stew

Ingredients for Malabar Mutton Stew:

1. Oil – 2 big spoons

    Ghee – 2 big spoons

2. Onions 3, sliced thin

    Green chillies – 4, crushed

    Ginger-garlic crushed – 1 big spoon

    Curry leaves – A little

3. Salt – For taste

    Tomato – 1, chopped

    Mutton – ½ kg, cut into small pieces

    Water – 2 cups

4. Thick coconut milk – 2 cups

5. Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon

    Pepper powder – ½ small spoon

    Coriander leaves – A little

How to prepare Malabar Mutton Stew?

1. Heat oil and ghee together in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 2.

2. When raw smell goes out, add ingredients no: 3.

3. Transfer the contents to a pressure cooker and cook till mutton is cooked well.

4. When pressure drops to zero, open the lid and add coconut milk.

5. Cook in low flame for a few minutes and add ingredients no: 5.

6. Serve hot.
