Maida Unniyappam

Ingredients for Maida Unniyappam:

1. Jaggery – 250 gm 

    Water – Half cup 

2. All-purpose flour – 1 cup, sifted 

    Well-ripened Palayamkodan banana – 2 

    Sesame seeds – 1 small spoon 

3. Ghee – 1 large spoon 

    Coconut oil – As required 

4. Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon

How to prepare Maida Unniyappam?

1. Melt the jaggery by adding water and set it aside to cool. 

2. Combine the second set of ingredients with the jaggery syrup and let it rest for half to one hour. 

3. Pour ghee and coconut oil into the Unniyappam pan and heat it. 

4. Add cardamom powder to the batter, mix well, pour into the Unniyappam pan, and prepare the Unniyappams.
