Gooseberry Chutney (Nellikka Chutney)
Ingredients for Gooseberry Chutney (Nellikka Chutney):
1. Gooseberry – 6, chopped after removing seeds
2. Shallots – 3
Ginger – 1 small piece
Curry leaf – 1 petal
Green chillies – 3
Mustard – A pinch
Salt – For taste
3. Coconut scrapped – 1 cup
How to prepare Gooseberry Chutney (Nellikka Chutney)?
1. Make a fine paste of gooseberry along with ingredients no: 2.
2. Add scrapped coconut and blend once in the mixer to get a course paste.
3. Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.
4. Grease your hand with a little oil and shape the chutney into a ball.
