Fish Amritsari
Ingredients for Fish Amritsari:
1. Fish medium sized – 8 pieces
2. Salt – For taste
Lemon juice – 1 big spoon
Ginger-garlic paste – 2 big spoons
Chilli powder – 1 big spoon
3. Curd – 110 gm (1/2 cup)
Gram flour – 200 gm
Egg – 1
Ajwain – 1 big spoon
Salt – As required
Water – As required
4. Oil – For frying
5. Chat masala, lemon pieces – To decorate
How to prepare Fish Amritsari?
1. Clean fish and make 1.5 inch pieces.
2. Mix ingredients no: 2, marinate fish and allow it to rest for next 20 minutes.
3. Mix together ingredients no: 3 to prepare the batter. Batter should be thick.
4. Dip the fish pieces in batter for 15 more minutes.
5. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish pieces till golden brown and they turn crispy.
6. Sprinkle chat masala on top and serve with lemon pieces.
