Coconut Paneer Curry recipe

Ingredients for Creamy Coconut Paneer Curry:

1. Paneer – 200 gm

2. Green peas cooked – 1 cup

3. Onions chopped – 1

4. Coriander leaves chopped – A little

5. Ginger-garlic paste – 1.5 tsp

6. Bay leaf (Karuva Ila) – 1

7. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

8. Coconut milk – 2 cups

9. Ghee – 3 tablespoons

To prepare coconut-cashew paste:

10. Coconut scraped – ½ cup

11. Cashews – ¼ cup

12. Cinnamon – 1-inch piece

13. Green cardamom – 4

14. Cloves – 4

15. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

16. Green chillies – 3

How to prepare Creamy Coconut Paneer Curry?

1. Soak cashews in hot water for 15 minutes.

2. Drain off water and mix it with the remaining ingredients of the coconut-cashew paste.

3. Add a little water and make a fine paste to prepare the gravy.

4. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan.

5. Add paneer cubes and fry till they turn golden brown.

6. Take a bowl, fill it with hot water and put these paneer cubes in it.

7. Heat a pan and add one small spoon of ghee.

8. Add onions and sauté on medium flame for 3-4 minutes till they turn golden brown.

9. Add ginger-garlic paste and bay leaf and continue sauting till the raw smell goes out.

10. Add coconut-cashew paste and turmeric powder, and mix the contents well.

11. Sauté the contents in medium flame for 3-4 minutes, till a thin layer of oil appears on its surface.

12. Add coconut milk, coriander leaves and salt and cook for 8 minutes.

13. Finally, add paneer, cooked green peas and 1 cup of water.

13. Boil the contents in low flame for 10 minutes.
