Christmas Tree Cookies recipes

Ingredients for Christmas Tree Cookies:

1. Butter – 170 gm

2. Sugar powdered – 170 gm

3. Egg – 1, white and yellow yolk separated

4. Maida – 225 gm

    Baking powder – ½ small spoon

5. Orange skin scratched – 1 small spoon

How to prepare Christmas Tree Cookies?

1. Pre-heat the oven in 180 degree Celsius.

2. Grease a baking tray.

3. Beat butter in a bowl till it turns soft.

4. Add sugar to it and beat again.

5. Keep a little white yolk aside and add the remaining portion to the yellow yolk and beat together.

6. Add it to the butter mixture and beat again.

7. Blend baking powder with maida, add orange skin followed by beaten egg and mix well to prepare the dough.

8. If the dough turns too soft, keep it in the refrigerator for a while.

9. Spread this dough on a surface with ¼ inch thickness.

10. Use a Christmas tree shape cutter and cut cookies from this spreadsheet.

11. Place them in a greased tray.

12. Using a fork, gently press the end points to get marks of tree branches.

13. Brush the cookies using beaten egg white and bake them in the oven for 15 minutes.

14. When your Christmas Tree Cookies turn light brown, transfer them to cooling rack.

Note: You can also cut the Christmas tree shape from a cardboard and use it as a cutter for cookies. Using this measurement, you can make approximately 24 cookies.
