Capsicum Poriyal

Ingredients for Capsicum Poriyal:

1. Red chillies – As needed

    Coriander seeds – 2 small spoons

    Asafoetida – A pinch

    Salt – For taste

2. Bengal gram fried – 2 small spoons

3. Oil – 2-3 big spoons

4. Mustard – ½ small spoon

5. Capsicum – 6-7, cut lengthwise

How to prepare Capsicum Poriyal?

1. Fry ingredients no: 1, without adding oil.

2. Blend well the above mixture, along with fried Bengal gram.

3. Heat 2-3 spoon of cooking oil and sputter mustard seeds.

4. Add capsicum and salt, and sauté well.

5. Finally add the ground masala powder.

6. Mix all ingredients together for 1 minute and put off the flame.
