If you have guests at home, you can serve Canape as a starter. Any type of topping served on a fried bread is called canape. You can use anything easily available in kitchen as topping for canape. Here is one simple recipe.

Ingredients for Canape:

1. Bread roasted in tawa – 20

2. Eggs boiled and crushed – 1

    Mayonnaise – 1 big spoon

    Salt and pepper powder – For taste

3. Minced chicken (cooked) – 1 big spoon

    Mayonnaise – 1/2 big spoon

    Salt and pepper powder – For taste

4. Carrot, beans – 2 big spoons, chopped fine and cooked

    Mayonnaise – 1/2 big spoon

    Salt and pepper powder – For taste

5. Olive slices – To decorate

How to prepare Canape?

1. Slice the edges of bread slices to get round shapes, and roast in a tawa.

2. Mix in separate bowls, ingredients no: 2, 3, and 4, and prepare three toppings.

3. Place toppings one after another on each bread slice.

4. Decorate with olive and serve.
