Beef – Thengakoth Ularth (Beef – Coconut Pieces Ularth)
Ingredients for Beef – Thengakoth Ularth (Beef – Coconut Pieces Ularth):
1. Beef – 200 gm, cut into square pieces
2. Chilli powder – 2 small spoons
Turmeric powder – 1/4 small spoon
Garam masala powder – 1 small spoon
Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
Fennel powder – 1/2 small spoon
Green chillies crushed – ½ small spoon
Ginger – 1 small piece, crushed
Salt – For taste
3. Water – For cooking
4. Oil – 50 milli
5. Shallots – 50 gm chopped
Coconut pieces – 20 gm
Ginger – 1 small piece chopped
Garlic – 4 cloves, chopped
Green chillies – 1, chopped
Curry leaves – 2 stalks
6. Chilli powder – 1 big spoon
Coriander powder – 1 small spoon
Turmeric powder – 3/4 small spoon
Fennel powder – 1 small spoon
7. Fried onions and curry leaves – To decorate
How to prepare Beef – Thengakoth Ularth (Beef – Coconut Pieces Ularth)?
1. Marinate beef using ingredients no: 2.
2. Add water to it and cook beef. Water content should be fully absorbed and beef should turn dry.
3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 5.
4. When it turns brown add powders and mix well.
5. Add cooked beef to it and mix well.
6. Check salt and decorate using fried onions and curry leaves.
