Aadarsh Balakrishna – Baddie of Telugu cinema
Aadarsh Balakrishna is a Telugu actor who mostly plays negative and grey shaded roles. He marked his screen debut as a cricketer through 2006 Bollywood film, Iqbal and fully switched to south Indian cinema the following year. He marked his Telugu film debut with Happy Days playing the role of an engineering student Sanjay, a senior bully and since then he mostly plays baddie on silver screen. He has also done a couple of Kannada films – Nooru Janmaku and bilingual Jaguar. Aadarsh became immensely popular among TV audiences after finishing as the runner up of first season of Bigg Boss Telugu.
The ‘bad guy’ of Tollywood, Aadarsh Balakrishna was born in Bangalore, Karnataka in 1984 into a business family. As a child his family shifted to Hyderabad, where he completed his studies. He has been a cricketer since young, and marked his screen debut soon after graduation, playing the role of a young cricketer in Iqbal. In fact he has played cricket till state level, and he was spotted by Nagesh Kukunoor’s team for Iqbal while training at St John’s Cricket Academy. Happy Days marked his Telugu debut. It was followed by Vinayakudu, Ride, Evaraina Epudaina, Maro Charitra, Genius, Bodyguard, 118 etc. He is married to Gulnar Virk and has one child.

1. Has been a cricketer since school days who nurtured an ambition to play for national team and interestingly he played a cricketer in his first screen role.
2. He has represented Hyderabad for state level cricket matches.
3. Now he plays with Telugu Warriors in the Celebrity Cricket League.
4. He quit smoking after he got into ‘Bigg Boss’ house as a contestant.
5. After a break of 13 years from Hindi entertainment industry, he accepted an offer for a web series in 2018, based on Indian army’s surgical strikes.
