മഴയാണ് പ്രണയം – കുട്ടികവിത

കാത്തിരിക്കാതെ കടന്നുവരുന്ന –

മഴ പോലെയാണ് പ്രണയം
മഴയുടെ സൗന്ദര്യവും നൈർമല്യവും
ശീതളഛായയും അതിനുണ്ട്
പലപ്പോഴും ഇടിവെട്ടും മിന്നല്പിണരുകളും
അതിനെ അനുഗമിക്കുന്നു
പെയ്‌തൊഴിഞ്ഞാലും അതിലൊരു തുള്ളി
കണ്ണീർമുത്തായി മനസ്സിന്നുള്ളറയിലെവിടെയെങ്കിലും
സൂക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നതാണ് സത്യം.
