Muttayappam

Ingredients for Muttayappam:

1. Boiled eggs – 4

2. Maida – 1 cup

3. Oil – 1 cup

4. Shallots -2, finely chopped

5. Bird’s eye chilli (Kanthari) crushed – 4

6. Ginger finely chopped – 1 tsp

7. Salt – For taste

8. Curry leaves – 1 stalk

How to prepare Muttayappam?

1. Add sufficient water to maida and mix it well.

2. Add crushed chillies, shallots, ginger and curry leaves and mix well.

3. Cut eggs to two, and add to the batter.

4. Deep fry each egg in hot oil.
