Tomato – Masoor Dal Curry
Ingredients for Tomato – Masoor Dal Curry:
1. Masoor dal – 1 cup
2. Ghee – 1 big spoon
3. Mustard – 1 small spoon
Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon
4. Onions chopped fine – ½ cup
Garlic chopped fine – 1 small spoon
5. Tomato chopped fine – ½ cup
Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
Salt – For taste
6. Coriander leaves chopped – 1 big spoon
How to prepare Tomato – Masoor Dal Curry?
1. Cook dal adding sufficient water.
2. Heat a pan and pour ghee.
3. Sputter mustard and cumin seeds.
4. Add onions and garlic and sauté well.
5. Add ingredients no: 5 and sauté again.
6. Add cooked daal to it and mix well.
7. When the contents boil well, take off from flame.
8. Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
