Trivia: At the 2009 Asianet Film Awards, Deepak Dev received the Best Music Director Award for his songs in this movie, while Shankar Mahadevan won the Best Male Playback Singer Award for this popular romantic track. He also received Annual Malayalam Movie Awards (Dubai) for Best Male Singer for Picha Vacha Naal Muthal song. The movie revived Prithviraj’s career to great extent. He rendered his voice for its title track also.
