Orange Pineapple Jam
Ingredients for Orange Pineapple Jam:
1. Pineapple – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
Sugar – 1/4 cup
Cloves – 12
Cinnamon – 6 pieces, 1 inch each
Water – 1 cup
2. Orange – 1/2 kg, peeled and segmented
Sugar – 1.5 kg
Citric Acid – 1 small spoon
How to prepare Orange Pineapple Jam?
1. Mix pineapple, sugar, cloves, cinnamon, and water. Cook well and strain through a cloth.
2. Add orange segments, sugar, and citric acid to the strained liquid. Boil while stirring continuously.
3. Once the mixture thickens and reaches a sticky consistency, remove from heat.
4. Pour into dry glass jars or a flat tray. It should flow like a sheet when poured.
5. Let it cool for a while, then remove the top layer of foam.
6. Store in an airtight container after completely cooling.
