Note: The romantic song beautifully filmed at night in the backdrop of Bharatapuzha river (Nila). So, many of the Sanskrit words are describing the beauty of night and river, predominantly black colour.

Perhaps the best Malayalam song of 1990s in terms of lyrical beauty. Matchless. Its lyrics have so many layers, so many explanations, quite a few not meant for us to understand. Only Kaithapram who penned it, knows. Yes, poets hide many emotions in between their lines, not everything meant for us to read and decode. Sad that this extremely popular song didn’t earn any award.
