This song was freshly tuned by Rahman for Sakkarakatti, while he reused a couple of compositions from the Hindi movie, Meenaxi:A Tale of Three Cities – Chinnamma & Yeh Rista. He was busy those days – Rahman during his peak years! Initially, he was reluctant to accept the project.
