Idi pori

Ingredients for Idipori:

1. Water – 1.5 cups

    Salt – For taste

2. Pathiri powder (rice flour) – 1 cup

How to prepare Idipori?

1. Boil water adding salt.

2. Add rice flour and after some time mix it well and put off the flame.

3. When it almost cools, knead the dough to make it soft.

4. Spread a plastic sheet and grease it with oil.

5. Using an idiyappam maker, squeeze the dough into the plastic sheets as a thin layer.

6. Dry it for a few days under hot sun. Water content should be fully absorbed.

7. When it’s done, store in dry tins for future use.

8. When you want to prepare an evening snack deep fry it in hot oil as required.

9. Crush once using hands and serve with sugar and banana.
