Movie Trivia
The movie’s success established the careers of both Vikram and Trisha, and both went on to become superstars of Tamil Cinema. Songs of Saamy became extremely popular too. A sequel titled Saamy Square was released in 2018. But the movie met with box office failure. The movie was panned by critics, too. Trisha was not a part of it.
