Ice Cream with Sauce
Ingredients for Ice Cream with Sauce:
1. Eggs – 3
2. Full-fat boiled milk – 2 cups
3. Sugar – 4 tablespoons
Condensed milk – 1 tin
4. Cold milk – 1 cup
Cornflour powder – 1.5 teaspoons
5. Gelatin – 2 teaspoons
Cold water – 2 tablespoons
6. Vanilla essence – 1/2 teaspoon
7. Egg whites – 3
Sugar – 3.5 tablespoons
8. Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Vanilla essence – 1/2 teaspoon
For Hot Chocolate Sauce:
9. Cocoa powder – 4 teaspoons
Water – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 2 teaspoons
10. Cornflour – 2 teaspoons
Cold water – 1/2 cup
How to prepare Ice Cream with Sauce?
1. Beat the three eggs until smooth. Gradually add full-fat boiled milk while whisking continuously.
2. Add the third set of ingredients and stir continuously while heating to prevent curdling.
3. Mix cornflour in cold milk, strain, and slowly add to the warming custard. The custard will thicken.
4. Soak gelatin in cold water, then dissolve it by holding it over boiling water.
5. Add the dissolved gelatin to the custard while whisking gently.
6. Remove from heat, add vanilla essence, and allow it to cool. Once cooled, refrigerate to chill.
7. Gradually add sugar to egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form. Add lemon juice and vanilla essence and continue beating.
8. Pour this mixture into the chilled custard and beat again. Cover with butter paper and freeze to set. When half-set, beat once more and allow it to set completely.
9. To prepare hot chocolate sauce, first mix the ninth set of ingredients together.
10. Mix cornflour in cold water, strain, and keep it ready.
11. Heat the cocoa mixture until it starts boiling, then slowly add the cornflour mixture. Stir until it thickens, then remove from heat.
12. Serve the ice cream in bowls, adding one or two teaspoons of hot chocolate sauce over each scoop before serving.
