Farheen Khan, popularly known as Farheen, is a Bollywood actress who worked in the industry during the first half of the 1990s, along with a few South Indian films. Though her brief career in Bollywood was not very successful, she is best known as a look-alike of her contemporary actress Madhuri Dixit. Nevertheless, Farheen appeared in a handful of films, mostly during the early 1990s. Jaan Tere Naam (1992), opposite Ronit Roy, is her most successful role and the one she is best remembered for. She also played the female lead in Nazar Ke Samne, Amaanat, Fauj, Dil Ki Baazi, Aag Ka Toofan, and Sainik during the 1990s.
She quit her film career after secretly marrying the controversial cricketer Manoj Prabhakar, who was already married and had children.

Farheen was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in 1973. She made an impressive debut in 1992 with the Bollywood film Jaan Tere Naam. Bollywood went gaga over the Madhuri Dixit look-alike, and it helped her secure a few romantic roles in the industry. She also did two South Indian films soon after her first Bollywood release. She met Manoj Prabhakar two years later. Initially, they were good friends, and later their friendship blossomed into love. She married the cricketer and stood by him during his difficult times, including the match-fixing allegations, after which she disappeared from the screen.
Today, Farheen lives in Delhi with her husband Manoj and their two children. Rohan, Manoj’s son from his first marriage, is now married and lives with the family. Agni Prem (1996) was her last film release. As per latest updates, she was shooting for a web series, Rate, directed by Harish Kotian. She also signed a Bollywood project with director Shivam Nair.
