Crunchy Cheese Biscuit

Ingredients for Crunchy Cheese Biscuit:

1. Maida – 1 cup

    Baking powder – 1.25 small spoon

2. Butter – 125 gm

3. Cheddar cheese – 90 gm, grated

    Salt – A pinch

    Chilli powder – A pinch

    Cornflakes coarsely powdered – 1 cup

4. Egg – 1

    Milk – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Crunchy Cheese Biscuit?

1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degree celsious.

2. Blend well the maida and baking powder and keep aside.

3. Take another bowl and make the butter soft with the help of fingers.

4. Add ingredients no: 3 and the maida mixture to it, and mix the ingredients.

5. Beat the egg and milk, and keep aside 2 small spoons of it separately.

6. Add the remaining egg mixture to the cornflakes and mix well.

7. Take one spoon of the dough each and make small balls.

8. Place the cookies inside a greased oven tray, at a 2-inch distance from each.

9. Take a fork and press on the top of each ball so that they turn into cookies with a strip design on top.

10. Gently brush the cookies with the egg mixture you have placed aside earlier.

11. In the pre-heated oven, bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes.

12. Once baked, take the cookies outside and keep them inthe  tray itself till they cool off completely.

13. Then place them in a wire rack to make them crispy. Around 35 biscuits can be prepared using this method.
