Crispy Thai Fried Chicken Legs
Ingredients for Crispy Thai Fried Chicken Legs:
1. Chicken drumstick (thighs) – 1 kg
2. Lemongrass – 2 stems
3. Garlic – 1, full
Pepper – 1 big spoon
Cilantro stem (only) – 7 or 8
4. Oyster sauce – 2 big spoons
Soya sauce – 2 big spoons
Salt – For taste
Sugar – 1 big spoon
Corn flour – 1 cup
5. Kaffir lime leaves – 1 bundle
6. Oil – As required
How to prepare Crispy Thai Fried Chicken Legs?
1. Clean chicken drumsticks and draw deep cuts in the flesh.
2. Make a fine paste of lemongrass and marinate chicken.
3. Grind ingredients no: 3 (never smoothly grind) and mix it with chicken.
4. Finally marinate chicken using ingredients no: 4 and allow it to rest for a few hours.
5. Chop Kaffir lime leaves to thin pieces.
6. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and deep fry chicken pieces till they turn golden brown.
7. Lemongrass mixture should turn crispy.
8. Transfer fried drumstick to a serving plate and sprinkle lime leaves soon. Then only chicken pieces get the pleasant aroma of lime leaves.
9. Serve your crispy Thai chicken drumstick with Thai sweet chilli sauce.
