Coconut Fruit Nut Roll
Ingredients for Coconut Fruit Nut Roll:
1. Grated Coconut – 2 cups
Sugar – 1½ cups
Water – 2 teaspoons
2. Food Color – A pinch
Milk – 2 teaspoons
Vanilla Essence – 1-2 drops
3. Chopped and Roasted Cashew Nuts – ½ cup
Finely Chopped Dates – ½ cup
Milk Powder – ½ cup
How to prepare Coconut Fruit Nut Roll?
1. Mix the first set of ingredients and set aside
2. Place this mixture in a thick-bottomed pan and cook well
3. When it reaches a thread-like consistency, add food colour mixed in milk and vanilla essence, then stir well
4. Remove from heat, add the third set of ingredients, mix thoroughly, and spread onto greased paper or aluminium foil, rolling into one-inch logs
4. Once cooled, remove the foil or paper and slice into pieces
