Chinese Potato Thoran (Koorkka Thoran)

Ingredients for Chinese Potato Thoran (Koorkka Thoran):

1. Chinese Potato (Koorkka) cooked and chopped – 2 cups

2. Oil – 1 big spoon

3. Mustard – 1 small spoon

    Black gram – 2 small spoons

    Red chillies – 2, broken

    Curry leaves – 4 stems

4. Onion chopped fine – ¼ cup

   Green chillies chopped fine – 1 big cup

   Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

5. Coconut scrapped – ½ cup

    Salt – For taste

How to prepare Chinese Potato Thoran (Koorkka Thoran)?

1. Remove skin of Chinese Potato.

2. Cook them and chop into pieces.

3. Heat oil and fry ingredients no: 3.

4. Sauté ingredients no: 4 till onions turn brown colour.

5. Add cooked Chinese Potato and mix well.

6. Add coconut and salt and mix well.

7. When it’s done, put off the flame and serve hot with rice.
