Cheru Paripp Curry (Green Gram Dal Curry)
Ingredients for Cheru Paripp Curry (Green Gram Dal Curry):
1. Green gram – ¾ cup
2. Onion – 1 medium, chopped
Tomato – 1, chopped
Green chilli – 2, chopped
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
3. Salt – To taste
4. Oil – 1 tbsp
5. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Fennel seeds – ½ tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
6. Coriander leaves, chopped – As required
How to prepare Cheru Paripp Curry (Green Gram Dal Curry)?
1. Wash the green gram dal well and cook it with the second ingredients and water.
2. Add salt to this, stir well, and cook on medium flame before taking it off the stove.
3. Heat oil in a pan and temper the fifth set of ingredients before pouring it into the curry.
4. Add coriander leaves, stir well, and serve with chapati.
