Beet Root Pickle


 

Ingredients for Beet Root Pickle:

  1. Beet root – 250 gm
  2. Coconut oil – 200 gm
  3. Mustard – 1 tsp
  4. Curry leaves – 2 stems
  5. Green chillies finely chopped – 1 tsp
  6. Garlic finely chopped – 1 tsp
  7. Chilli powder -3 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  9. Vinegar – ½ cup
  10. Salt – as needed

How to prepare Beet Root Pickle?

  1. Grate beetroot
  2. Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds. Sauté green chillies, garlic and curry leaves.
  3. Add grated beet root and cook well.
