Bathing is so important. A few important points to know

Can we imagine a day without bathing? To become tidy and look fresh, bathing is more essential. If we bath in the early morning we stay fresh the whole day without out daily activities or office work. Bath is the best medicine for the refreshment of the whole day as well as sound sleep for night. Along with it, it removes dirt, sweat and bad odour of our body, and keeps skin diseases at bay. To reduce body pain, relax body muscles, to relieve stress and strain – bathing does wonders in our life.

Lukewarm water is the best choice for bathing

When you return home after a tedious office work, how would it feel if you take a bath in warm water? When you sit before computer for long hours, bathing can relax the muscles of neck and shoulders. It is also a solution to mental stress and migraines. Fibromyalgia is a condition of severe body pain and hot water bath is one good remedy.

For aged people, hot water bath is something like a hot water therapy, which relieves them from pain and other discomforts. It expands the blood vessels of hands and legs, thus increasing blood circulation. For children, boiled and cooled water is the best. Never pour cold water into hot water to reduce temperature. Instead boil it well and then allow it to cool.

Bath at night for good sleep

Lukewarm water is best for a body wash before you go to sleep. It’s a nice option to bath before supper. After bath our body cools, and it invites good sleep. Keep your stomach half-empty and drink a glass of warm milk. Stay relaxed, read a book and listen some light music.

Can we bath while having fever?

For severe body pain and severe temperature, cold water bath should be avoided. Cold water increases the discomfort of cold, sore throat, influenza and associated conditions. Instead of washing hair, use warm water for body wash. Senior people may not go for daily bath. Instead they can bath twice or thrice a week. In the remaining days, sponge bath with warm water is sufficient. Dip cloth in warm water and rub on body parts to remove dirt and sweat.

What’s the relation between itching and body bath?

In some cases, a person may feel itching throughout the body soon after bathing. In some cases red rashes and swells may also appear. Such a condition mostly occurs while using warm water for bath. Warm water dries skin resulting in itching. Soon after bath, completely remove the water content of body, and it’s the only remedy in this case.

Never use extra soap while bathing

To remove oil, dirt and sweat, we can’t avoid the use of soap while bathing. But soap can make your skin dry. If you are a person with dry skin, use liquid body washes instead of soap. Never apply soap directly on skin. Instead apply its foam only. Never apply soap on hair. You can bath 2 or 3 times a day as per your preference, but use soap once. For better skin health, choose soaps with high content of glycerine.
