Sacher Cake
Ingredients for Sacher Cake:
1. Butter – 100 gm
Sugar powdered – 100 gm
2. Coco powder – 25 gm
3. Yellow yolk – 140 gm
4. White yolk – 210 gm
Sugar powdered – 100 gm
5. Maida – 100 gm
Baking powder – 1.5 gm
6. Marie biscuit powdered – 50 gm
Corn flour – 1 big spoon
7. Apricot jam – 75 gm
8. Dark compound chocolate – 375 gm
9. Whipping cream – 250 gm
How to prepare Sacher Cake?
1. Pre-heat oven in 180 degree celsious.
2. Blend together butter and sugar. Add coco powder and beat again
3. Add yellow yolk one by one and beat well.
4. Take white yolk and sugar in a bowl and beat it well.
5. Blend maida with baking powder.
6. Add maida to coco mixture along with powdered Marie biscuit and corn flour.
7. Add the beaten white yolk and slowly mix it to prepare the batter.
8. Bake the batter in pre-heated oven for approximately 35 minutes.
9. When the cake cools, cut into two equal halves.
10. Place apricot jam on its top and place the second half.
11. You can ice the cake with truffle sauce and serve.
12. To prepare icing, first melt the chocolate using double boiling method.
13. Heat cream also in double boiling method.
14. Mix both and your icing is ready.
