Ribbon Pakoda

Ingredients for Ribbon Pakoda:

1. Besan Flour (Gram Flour) – 2 Cups 

    Roasted Gram Flour – 1 Cup 

    Rice Flour – 1 Cup 

2. Dried Red Chillies – 6 

    Asafoetida – As Required 

    Salt – As Required 

3. Vanaspati – 2 Teaspoons 

4. Baking Soda – ½ Teaspoon 

5. Oil – As Required For Frying 

How to prepare Ribbon Pakoda?

1. Mix the first set of ingredients and knead well. 

2. Grind the second set of ingredients into a paste. 

3. Add hot Vanaspati and the ground spice paste to the mixture, combine well, and knead by adding a little water. 

4. Add baking soda and knead again.

5. Fill the dough into a sev press with a pakoda mould and squeeze into hot oil. 

6. Fry well and drain excess oil. 

7. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
