Kishore DS – National award winner for best child artist for ‘Pasanga’

Kishore DS is a Tamil film actor who shot to fame as a child artist after the release of national award winning film, Pasanga. He along with Sree Raam won National award for best child artist for the movie released in 2009, and it was Kishore’s film debut. The movie bagged two more National awards. After playing child artist for a few more Tamil movies, he moved to supporting and lead hero roles. Kishore DS & Sree Raam together played the lead roles in 2014 highly acclaimed film, Goli Soda.

Kishore DS was born in 1994 in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. He is the son of Dhinakaran and Shanthi, and has one brother. He marked his film debut as a child artist through 2009 Tamil film Pasanga which won him national award for best child artist. Drohi, Goli Soda, Nedunchaalai, Vajram, Sagaa, Uruthikol, House Owner and 6 Athiyayam are his film releases later. He has played both lead and supporting roles on screen till now. After marking his debut as a child artist though he enrolled for engineering at KCG College of Technology , Karapakkam he discontinued his studies to pursue a career in films.

1. His schooling was done at Kumararani Meena Muthiah School, Adyar.

2. He has directed one music video titled Varamataya.
