This Curd Pudding Recipe uses thick curd and condensed milk as main ingredients. Adding nutmeg powder to this steamed pudding adds a desi flavour too. Try this dessert at home if you want to try something different.
Ingredients for Curd Pudding:
- Thick Curd – 2 cups
Condensed Milk – 1 tin - Nutmeg – A small piece
Milk – 2 teaspoons - Cashew Nuts roasted in Ghee – ½ cup
How to prepare Curd Pudding?
- Mix thick curd and condensed milk, and beat thoroughly.
- Grind the nutmeg with a little milk, then add it to the curd mixture.
- Pour this into a butter-greased dish, cover tightly, and steam it.
- When the pudding is three-quarters cooked, open the lid and sprinkle half the roasted cashews on top.
- Steam again, ensuring that the steam from the lid does not drip onto the pudding.
- Finally, sprinkle the remaining cashew nuts on top and serve warm or chilled.
