This Curd Pudding Recipe uses thick curd and condensed milk as main ingredients. Adding nutmeg powder to this steamed pudding adds a desi flavour too. Try this dessert at home if you want to try something different. 

Curd Pudding Recipe

Ingredients for Curd Pudding:

  1. Thick Curd – 2 cups
    Condensed Milk – 1 tin 
  2. Nutmeg – A small piece
    Milk – 2 teaspoons 
  3. Cashew Nuts roasted in Ghee – ½ cup 

How to prepare Curd Pudding?

  1. Mix thick curd and condensed milk, and beat thoroughly. 
  2. Grind the nutmeg with a little milk, then add it to the curd mixture. 
  3. Pour this into a butter-greased dish, cover tightly, and steam it.
  4. When the pudding is three-quarters cooked, open the lid and sprinkle half the roasted cashews on top.
  5. Steam again, ensuring that the steam from the lid does not drip onto the pudding. 
  6.  Finally, sprinkle the remaining cashew nuts on top and serve warm or chilled.
