
Ingredients for Coconut Pan Roll (Thenga Ada):
- Maida – 150 gm
Rice flour – 100 gm
Coconut milk – 100 milli
Water – 150 milli
Rose water – 5 milli - Ghee – 4 small spoons
- Cashews broken – 2 small spoons
Raisins – 2 small spoons - Coconut scraped – 150 gm
- Sugar – 4 big spoons
Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon
How to prepare Coconut Pan Roll (Thenga Ada)?
- Mix ingredients no: 1 to prepare batter without lumps.
- Heat the ghee and fry the cashews and raisins.
- Add scraped coconut and fry for 1 more minute.
- Turn off the flame. Add sugar and cardamom powder.
- Heat a non-stick tawa, and pour a big spoonful of batter.
- Spread the batter into a very thin pancake.
- Place a little filling on one side of the pancake and wrap it.
- Cut the pan roll into two halves and serve it hot.
