Coconut Pan Roll

Ingredients for Coconut Pan Roll (Thenga Ada):

  1. Maida – 150 gm
    Rice flour – 100 gm
    Coconut milk – 100 milli
    Water – 150 milli
    Rose water – 5 milli
  2. Ghee – 4 small spoons
  3. Cashews broken – 2 small spoons
    Raisins – 2 small spoons
  4. Coconut scraped – 150 gm
  5. Sugar – 4 big spoons
    Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon

How to prepare Coconut Pan Roll (Thenga Ada)?

  1. Mix ingredients no: 1 to prepare batter without lumps.
  2. Heat the ghee and fry the cashews and raisins.
  3. Add scraped coconut and fry for 1 more minute.
  4. Turn off the flame. Add sugar and cardamom powder.
  5. Heat a non-stick tawa, and pour a big spoonful of batter.
  6. Spread the batter into a very thin pancake.
  7. Place a little filling on one side of the pancake and wrap it.
  8. Cut the pan roll into two halves and serve it hot.
