Chowari Chivda (Sago Chivda)
Ingredients for Chowari Chivda (Sago Chivda):
1. Oil – For frying
2. Big sized sago – 1 cup
3. Green chillies – 4, split
Curry leaves – 10 petals
Red chillies – 1 or 2, broken
4. Peanuts fried – ½ cup
Cashews fried – ½ cup
Raisins fried – 1/4 cup
Salt – For taste
Palm jaggery powder – 1 big spoon
How to prepare Chowari Chivda (Sago Chivda)?
1. Heat oil in a pan and fry sago for a few minutes.
2. When sago turns big and fully crispy, turn of the flame.
3. Spread it on a tissue paper.
4. In the remaining oil, fry ingredients no: 3 and spread it on a tissue paper.
5. Transfer the fried items to a big bowl and add ingredients no: 4.
6. Mix all the ingredients together and serve.
7. Once it cools, you can store it in an air-tight container.
