Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients for Cabbage Rolls:

1. Cabbage leaves – A few, steamed and dried 

2. Coconut grated – ½ cup 

    Black pepper powder – 1 small spoon 

    Garlic – 6 cloves 

    Ginger – 1 small piece 

    Cumin – ½ small spoon 

    Tamarind – As required 

    Salt – As required 

    Sugar – A pinch 

3. Bengal gram flour – ½ cup 

    Water – As required 

4. Oil – For frying 

How to prepare Cabbage Rolls?

1. Steam the cabbage leaves, pat dry, and set aside. 

2. Grind together grated coconut, black pepper powder, garlic, ginger, cumin, tamarind, salt, and sugar into a paste. 

3. Mix Bengal gram flour with water to make a thick batter. Add the ground paste and mix well. 

4. Spread the paste evenly on each cabbage leaf, roll it into a sausage shape, and secure it with a toothpick. 

5. Steam the rolls again, then let them cool. 

6. Dip the cooled rolls in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. 

7. Serve hot.
