Bharani Soup

Ingredients for Bharani Soup:

1. Chicken/Mutton – 250g, crushed with bone 

    Liver (cut into small pieces) – 250g 

    Shallots (sliced lengthwise) – ¼ cup 

    Ginger (sliced lengthwise) – 1 tsp 

    Garlic (small cloves) – 9 

    Cinnamon – Two 1-inch pieces 

    Cloves – 6 

    Cardamom – 1 

    Black pepper (crushed) – 1 tsp 

    Salt – As required 

    Water – 3 cups 

2. White pepper, Salt – As required 

How to prepare Bharani Soup?

1. Place the first set of ingredients in a jar, seal it, and cover the jar’s opening with a paste of rice flour or wheat flour. 

2. Place the jar in a pot of boiling water, cover it with a lid, and steam for one hour. 

3. Once cooked, mix well, strain, and add white pepper powder and salt. Serve hot.
