Ayaz Khan is a Bollywood & TV actor best known for playing supporting roles. He played Genelia D’Souza’s toxic fiancée in coming-of-age romantic comedy film, Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008), which was a blockbuster. He is also popular through a few TV shows like Dill Mill Gayye, Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, Parichay, Laut Aao Trisha, Kesari Nandan etc. His role as Dr. Shubhankar Rai in Dill Mill Gayye made him immensely popular among TV audiences. Ayaz Khan was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra on April 1, 1979. His family holds deep roots in Sherani Pashtun ethnic group from father’s side. He started his modelling journey in the late 1990s and appeared in over 300 print and TV ads during his modelling career. His success in modelling career gave him opportunities in acting. Though he couldn’t gain much recognition through big screen, his small screen roles made him a household name.
He was first seen in an uncredited role in Abhishek Bachchan’s Bluffmaster! It was followed by Himesh Reshammiya’s Samjho Na Kuch Toh Samjho Na of Aap Kaa Surroor.

3. Ayaz briefly dated his Parichay co-star Arti Singh for a while, before he married Lucknow girl Amish Khan in 2018. (Some media news report her name as Jannat Khan). Their daughter Dua Khan was born in 2022.
4. Though Ayaz and Amish were planning to get engaged in March 2018, their parents decided to get them married as they didn’t want to delay their marriage for 8 months. His sudden marriage became a surprise joy to his fans.
