Ajaz Khan – Hindi actor of ‘Bigg Boss season 7’ fame
Ajaz Khan is a model-turned actor belonging to Hindi entertainment industry. He is best known for his appearance in Bigg Boss season 7 in 2013, where he appeared as a contestant with ‘Mawali style’ of talking which made him popular. He played supporting roles in Bollywood films such as Rakta Charitra and Allah Ke Banday. He has been a part of several Hindi episodic shows apart from Hindi soaps such as Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Kii, Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma, Karam Apna Apna since 2007. He also participated in Akshay Kumar’s Tv show, Khatron Ka Khiladi.
Ajaz Khan hails from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He was born in 1981. He started his professional career as a model, before getting his first major break into acting through TV show, Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Kii in 2008. Before that he had played a brief role in Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa in 2007. Since then he became a part of many episodic shows, soaps as well as reality shows as a contestant. He became a part of Telugu action comedy film, Dookudu in 2011. Since then he is regular in Telugu movies too.
Ajaz Khan – Some interesting and less-known facts
1. His controversial role in Rahul Dholakia’s Lamha was chopped off from the final version of the movie. His character Kuku Pare, a militant-turned politician was inspired from a real-life character.
2. His controversial statements in social media have invited him trouble multiple times. He is known for instigating violence through social media platform.
3. In 2018 he was arrested by Narcotics Cell of Mumbai police for having drugs in the form of ecstasy tablets.
4. In July 2019 his TitTok video mocking Mumbai Police landed him into trouble and later he was arrested by BKC Cyber cell. Earlier this year an FIR was booked against him for assaulting a model and director at a fashion event.
5. He came to limelight after posing semi-nude for a television ad in the recent post.
6. He runs an NGO – Allah Ke Banday to help poor.
