Sunny Wayne – Malayalam film actor with Chathur Mukham, Nee Ko Njaa Cha and Second Show to his credit

Sunny Wayne is a popular Malayalam film actor, who plays both lead and supporting roles since 2012. Second Show marked his screen debut, and since then he has appeared in over 40 films. He launched a production company named Sunny Wayne Productions in 2018, and Nivin Pauly starrer Padavettu is the first film release. As an actor, some of his popular roles are Nee Ko Njaa Cha, Annayum Rasoolum, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, My Santa, Koothara, Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi, Alamara, Kayamkulam Kochunni, Aadu 2, June, Anugraheethan Antony etc.

Sunny Wayne’s real name is Sujith Unnikrishnan. He was born in Kalpatta, Wyanad in 1983. He completed his engineering studies from Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology. He is married to his long-time girlfriend Renjini, a dancer since 2019. For a brief period, he worked in IT field in Bangalore, before pursuing films.

He made his debut through Second Show in 2012 and played a handful of memorable roles since then. Most of his early releases were box-office hits too. He received SIIMA awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Second Show. The role also bagged him Jaihind TV Award Best Actor in a New Face. Nee Ko Njaa Cha was his first lead role, where he portrayed a Casanova type character.

Wayne made his Tamil debut with Gypsy

He had a small break in 2019. Yet he returned in a bang with three major releases after that. In 2020 he marked his Tamil debut through Gypsy, in a supporting role. He shared screen space with Manju Warrier in 2020 in techno-horror film, Chathur Mukham, and the movie received rave reviews. He played male lead in the film, which brought him to limelight once again. He also made a cameo appearance in Black Coffee. Anugraheethan Antony also released in 2021, where he played lead role. Kurup, Kuttavum Shikshayum, Zam Zam, Paappan etc are his upcoming releases.
