Spicy Dragon Fish
Ingredients for Spicy Dragon Fish:
1. Fish with thick flesh – 200 gm
2. Egg – 1
Maida – 2 big spoons
Corn flour – 1 big spoon
Salt – As required
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 small spoon
3. Vegetable oil – As required
4. Ginger and garlic chopped – 40 gm each
Green chillies – 4, chopped
Onions – 2, medium sized
Capsicum (red, green and yellow) – ½ each chopped
Celery – 1 stem chopped
5. Red chilli paste – 2 big spoons
Tomato sauce – 1 big spoon
Chilli sauce – 1 big spoon
Soya sauce – ½ big spoon
6. Salt and pepper powder – As required
7. Oil – 40 ml
8. Spring onion – 1 stem, cut into thin, lengthwise pieces
How to prepare Spicy Dragon Fish?
1. Cut fish into 1.5 inch pieces.
2. Mix together ingredients no: 2 to prepare a fine paste.
3. Heat oil in a pan, dip fish pieces in the batter and deep fry them.
4. Fish pieces should be golden brown in colour.
5. In the remaining oil sauté ingredients no: 4.
6. When it’s done, add chilli paste and sauces and mix well.
7. Add fish pieces to it.
8. Sprinkle salt and pepper and add a little water as well.
9. Decorate with spring onions and serve.
