Tapioca Pudding

Ingredients for Tapioca Pudding:

1. China grass – 5 gms

2. Sago – 3 big spoons

3. Grated tapioca – ½ cup

4. Warm milk – ½ litre

    Sugar – 4 big spoons

5. Condensed milk – As per taste

    Salt – A pinch

6. Vanilla essence – ½ small spoon

7. Ghee – 1 big spoon

    Grated tapioca – A little

    Cashews – A big spoon

How to prepare Tapioca Pudding?

1. Soak China grass in ½ cup water.

2. Wash sago, soak in water for a while and then cook it.

3. Wash grated tapioca 2-3 times to completely remove the stain.

4. Remove water content completely, and cook in warm milk. Use low flame only.

5. When tapioca is half cooked, add 4 big spoons of sugar.

6. When it is cooked, add a pinch of salt and condensed milk.

7. Mix the contents well and add melted china grass.

8. Mix the contents and finally add cooked sago.

9. Put off the flame and add vanilla essence.

10. Allow the contents to cool, and then refrigerate it.

11. Heat a big spoon of ghee in a pan and fry a little grated tapioca.

12. Remove it from ghee and then fry cashews.

13. Decorate your tapioca pudding with both fried ingredients and serve.

Ingredients for Tapioca Pudding (Kappa Pudding) Recipe 2:

1. Tapioca – 250 gm

2. Milk – ½ litre

    Sugar – 3/4 cup

3. Milk powder – 4 or 5 small spoons, mixed in a little milk

4. China grass – 20 gm, soaked in water

5. Vanilla essence – 2 or 3 drops

6. Pista broken – To decorate

How to prepare Tapioca Pudding (Kappa Pudding) Recipe 2?

1. Grate tapioca and squeeze excess water content.

2. Add milk and sugar and cook tapioca.

3. When tapioca is well-cooked, add milk powder mixed with milk.

4. Continue cooking till it thickens.

5. Strain china grass soaked in water and add to pudding.

6. Also add vanilla essence and put off the flame.

7. When it cools, refrigerate.

8. Decorate with pista and serve chilled.

Note: You can also use condensed milk for preparation.
