Rose Flower Gulkand

Gulkhand jam

Ingredients for Rose Flower Gulkand:

1. Ghee – 100 gm

2. Cashews broken – 5 small spoons

3. White pumpkin – 1 kg, grated

4. Dates – 250 gm, chopped fine

5. Honey – 5 small spoons

6. Sugar – 150 gm

7. Kalkandam (White rock sugar candy) – 125 gm

8. Cardamom powder – ½ small spoon

9. Rose petals – A little

How to prepare Rose Flower Gulkand?

1. Add ghee in a pan and fry cashews till it turns golden brown.

2. Add grated pumpkin and sauté again.

3. Add dates, mix well and add honey, followed by sugar.

4. Mix the contents well and add rock sugar, cardamom powder and rose petals.

5. Stir well and put off the flame.
