Pulikali of Thrissur Photos

One of the vibrant colours of Onam celebration, Pulikali is quite popular in Thrissur. Hundreds of men disguised themselves as tigers and leopards dance to the tunes of udukku and thakil, and make the occasion cheerful. Tigers are painted with different colours such as red, black and predominantly yellow colour. If you are interested to read more about this art form, go through the link.
