Paneer Tikka Masala

Ingredients for Paneer Tikka Masala:

1. Paneer cubes – 400 gm

2. Curd – 1 cup

3. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon

    Ginger-garlic paste – 1 small spoon

    Kasuri meti – A pinch

    Salt – As required

4. Butter – 2 big spoons

5. Ginger-garlic paste – 1 small spoon

6. Onions – 1, finely chopped

7. Cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf (vayana leaf) – As needed

    Coriander – 2 big spoons

8. Tomato – 3, chopped

9. Fresh cream – ½ cup

10. Coriander leaves chopped – To decorate

How to prepare Paneer Tikka Masala?

1. Marinate paneer with curd and ingredients no: 3 and allow to rest for 1 hour.

2. Heat oil and sauté ginger-garlic paste.

3. Add onions and sauté again.

4. Add ingredients no: 7 and fry for a while.

5. Then add tomatoes and sauté again.

6. When this mixture gets cooled, grind it well to make a fine paste.

7. Heat a tawa and fry the marinated paneer pieces without adding oil.

8. Fry both sides.

9. Cook these paneer pieces along with gravy.

10. Add fresh cream and coriander leaves, and mix well.

11. Serve hot.
