Paneer Petti (Paneer Box)

Ingredients for Paneer Petti:

1. Ghee – 2 big spoons

2. Cashews and raisins – A few

3. Eggs – 7 whipped

    Sugar – 4 big spoons

    Cardamom powder – ¼ small spoon

4. Sugar – 1 cup

    Cardamom powder – ¼ small spoon

    Water – 1.5 cups

    Rose water – 1 big spoon

5. Maida – 1.5 cups

    Eggs – 3

    Salt – As required

    Water – 1.5 cups

    Yellow food colour – A pinch

6. Cashews and raisins – A few

How to prepare Paneer Petti?

1. Blend well ingredients no: 3.

2. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté Cashews and raisins.

3. When it turns brown, add the blended ingredients no: 3 to it and scramble. Fry it well. This is the filling for Paneer Petti.

4. Boil ingredients no: 4 to prepare the syrup.

5. Mix together ingredients no: 5 and blend well in a mixer.

6. Transfer the contents to a big bowl and using an egg beater, beat the contents well till foams are formed.

7. Extract foams using a spoon, pour on a hot pan to make a dosa.

8. Flip it quickly and insert the filling at the centre.

9. Then fold all the four sides to make a box like structure.

10. Pour a little more batter to make a big dosa this time.

11. Place a layer of filling in the centre and place the already prepared box structure inside it.

12. Again fold it to form another box.

13. Continue the process till you get a medium sized box.

14. Transfer your paneer petti to a serving plate and cut in the middle.

15. Pour a little syrup and decorate using cashews and raisins before you serve.
