Koova Paalooda (Arrowroot Falooda)

Ingredients for Koova Paalooda (Arrowroot Falooda):

1. Arrowroot powder – 1.5 big spoons

    Milk – 2 cups

2. Sugar – 2 big spoons

    Turmeric powder – A pinch

3. Cardamom – 3, crushed

    Salt – A pinch

4. Ghee – A small spoon

5. Onions chopped thin – 1 small spoon

    Cashews and raisins – 1 big spoon each

6. Dried rose petals – To decorate

How to prepare Koova Paalooda (Arrowroot Falooda)?

1. Mix arrowroot powder in 1.25 cups of milk.

2. Boil the remaining milk adding sugar and turmeric powder.

3. Add arrowroot-milk mixture to it, along with salt and cardamom.

4. Keep stirring and cook the contents.

5. Fry ingredients no: 5 in ghee and pour to arrowroot mixture.

6. Mix the contents and allow to cool.

7. Transfer Arrowroot Falooda into serving glasses.

8. Decorate with rose petals and serve.
