Kakka Roti using Mutton or Beef

Ingredients for Kakka Roti using Mutton or Beef:

1. Normal rice of any type/Ponni rice – 3 cups

2. Coconut – 1, scrapped

    Cinnamon – 1 piece

    Cardamom – 3

    Cumin seeds – A pinch

    Shallots – 8

3. Beef/mutton – ½ kg

4. Onions – 3, sliced thin

    Green chillies – 4, chopped

    Ginger – 1 piece, chopped

    Garlic – 6 cloves

    Chilli powder – 1 big spoon

    Coriander powder – 1 big spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – For taste

5. Coconut – 1, fried and grinded

How to prepare Kakka Roti using Mutton or Beef?

1. Soak rice in hot water for 2 hours.

2. Along with ingredients no: 2, grind it to a thick batter.

3. Make small balls and press it using hands and steam cook it.

4. This is used as Kunji Pathiri.

5. Clean meat and cut into small pieces.

6. Add ingredients no: 4 to it and cook it well.

7. When meat is well cooked, add kunji pathiri to it and mix well.

8. Add coconut paste, mix the contents well and put off the flame.
